Sometimes I do illustrations that aren't conventionally reliant on cartoon styled approaches. I have different shit in my sketch book between painting sketches and studies to mock up plans for installations. This is a study for a character I've been obsessed over for some time the details for the character aren't really important for the post here however I thought I'd share.
I recently have been looking at Louise Bourgeois for another painting/installation I've been working on I will most likely but up the studies and plans for that later. shes a French sculpture and painter who deals for emotional aspects from her child hood as well as murder in her work. Shes known for her spider structure's and uneasy feeling she generates through her work.

her figurative sculptures are beautiful and something I hope to explore with my own soft sculpture practices. Along with her autobiographic work or rather apart of it she deals with sexual themes that I already deal with in my work and have inspired me to perhaps go even more person with a side of myself
