This is the work of Squeak Carnwath, an abstract painter from my home town. I really love her use of color and pattern and how it evokes feelings of happiness and playfulness.

I thought the paper sculptures/ drawings of yulia Brodskaya were an interesting take on the use of drawing through other mediums. In addition to that her use of color and movement is fantastic.

Anant Nanvare alsouses a similar technique, with roled paper to create images.

Christian Merry is a writer and illustrator whose work I found browsing the web. I found most of her images to have the same kind of imagery as my own and appear eerily similar to thinks I have in my sketch books. It brings up the thought of how to think about work that is similar to your own.
