For this weeks weekly drawing i did a brief ink and marker sketch of a section thats gonna be referenced in a painting i'm currently working on. I tend to do brief sketches/doodles and then improvise in my paintings. For some odd reason i enjoy jumping into a painting half prepared rather than planning out every inch.
Todd Schorr is a pop, surrealist who works with a great amount of detail in his paintings. His content creates off beat narratives that poke fun at the public's interaction with pop culture. Schorr flexes his techincal ability in his paintings, and he is also a UARTS alumni.
